Positive news at last! Stamp duty tax cuts.

An article released this week from Ed mead (FRICS) (View here) he discusses the frustrations of delays with transactions due to the speed in which documentation is available to buyers.

In a recent interview by Andrew Knight (RICS Tech Partner) with Tim Main (MRICS) and David Sandeman who have created a product which helps agents to push for sellers to upload information about the property day 1 of taking on the instruction. David Sandeman gives his comments and experience of how his service used in the auction industry ‘Auction Passport’ allows sellers and their solicitors to upload documents as soon as the auctioneer has accepted the instruction. And this is what Tim and David are trying to push into the private treaty sector, a data room or ‘Pip Vault’ that helps speed up conveyancing, reduce the fall through rate and hopefully help agents win instructions.
