What is the difference between ‘Live Stream’ auctions and ‘Online auctions'.

Live Stream

A ‘Live Stream’ auction is where you can watch an auction in ‘Real-time’ as it happens in the room. Registered bidders can place bids at the same time as the in-room bidders. Not all livestreams have in room bidding, but they are still "auctioneer led" with internet bidders, telephone bidders and proxy bids.

Viewers can see the lot address, picture and in most cases, a live video and audio stream.

Online Auction

An ‘Online Auction’ is where a property is displayed online with a bidding panel. The bidder can register, download legal documents, and bid via the page. This type of auction is often described as an 'Ebay style' auction.
